Greetings readers and welcome back to this Sunday’s edition of Six Sentence Sunday. First off, I would like to wish all the fathers out there a Happy Father’s Day. I didn’t know my dad that well growing up, but I’ve since gotten that pleasure and I am proud to be his daughter, so, Papi, Feliz Dia de Padres; te amo.
Today’s six sentences come from my work-in-progress, Your Neighbor’s Love. There’s a new tenant in the building and she is the raven-haired, buxom-figured Victoria; and while Paul and David take an immediate liking to her, Leti…well, she feels differently.
Six Sentence Sunday is a blogging experience where participants post six sentences from something they’re working on or something they’ve published. You can visit their site to check out the other participants or to join in the fun.

David stopped setting the table and exclaimed, “You barely even talked to her.”
“That’s because she’s got a ‘V’ name.”
When he offered her a blank look in response, she added, “In the movies, the person with the ‘V’ name is always the villain: Victor from the Fantastic Four, V from the Vendetta, Volpe from Thunderball …uhm, Elvira, mistress of darkness.”
“That doesn’t even start with ‘V’,” David laughed, and resumed his task.
“Well…there’s a ‘V’ in there.”
