Happy Sunday. Today’s six sentences come from my work-in-progress, Your Neighbor’s Love. Leti has made her opinion about the new tenant Victoria known. However, it seems both David and Paul might be falling under her guile. She is not going to allow this and decides to talk with Victoria.

Six Sentence Sunday is a blogging experience where participants post six sentences from something they’re working on or something they’ve published. You can visit their site to check out the other participants or to join in on the fun.

Leti shrieked and slammed the door. Who the hell did Victoria think she was, telling her to mind her own business? The two men were her business: Paul was her ex, the father of her child, the a-hole who kicked her out of his apartment…okay, maybe he deserved Victoria’s attention, but David didn’t. He was sensitive, handsome, sweet, caring, compassionate, funny – everything a woman could want in a man, everything she wanted in a man.

But if Victoria was the type of woman he went after, there was no way she could compete, not with her big, fat, pregnant self.

Leti shrieked again and kicked the wall, hoping to feel better.
