I have a confession to make: I googled topic ideas for my blog. While I am not ashamed of my actions (sometimes you need a little push in the right direction), I am reticent to admit my mind is blank. No, it’s not writer’s block. I think my brain is just too scattered. Between end-of-summer and start-of-fall, there’s a lot of preparation for school, lots of shopping to do (not the good kind) and meetings to go to. Tomorrow I have to somehow be in two places at once for an open house and a parent meeting.
Like I said, scattered.
But I’m not here to discuss that. Remember I googled topics and found a few I could write about:
- Self-Improvement
- How To Become A Better Writer
- How To Get What You Want Without Breaking The Law Or Burning Bridges
- Health & Fitness For Busy People
- Vegan Diet
- Speaking In Public
Just by reading the list, you’ve learned some things about me: I was a vegan, I have been writing long enough to give tips, I’m comfortable with public speaking and I am ever trying to improve self.
However, I found this list more interesting:
- Ghost-hunting
- Bigfoot
- The end of the world and the Mayan prophecies for December 21, 2012
I’ll probably never write about them, though (it’s hard to come up with a story about a ghostly Sasquatch fighting hunters in an end-of-world world). So we’re back to square one – a scattered brain. Maybe instead of searching for blog topics, I should be looking for information on cloning.
